The peaceful breeze met with the laughter of friends + family made for the perfect mountain wedding in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I believe that a ceremony site should be beautiful but more importantly should be meaningful to the couple. These mountains run deep in the King family, his family shared many memories here together. It was only right Nicki joined the family in Jacob’s favorite place!
I have been a huge fan of this couple since they started dating in HIGH SCHOOL! We love a good highschool sweetheart story. I spent the morning with Jacob preparing for his big day, when I asked him what he was most excited about he simply said, “to see my girl!” After the wedding I asked Nicki what was her favorite part of the entire night. She said, “walking down the aisle to see Jacob for the first time. I thought about that moment for years and it was just as beautiful as I expected.” Nicki + Jacob were both most excited about the same thing, sharing their love.
The ceremony sat atop the lush mountain side framing a cross that Jacob handmade for his bride. How sweet!! The reception was a party under the stars filled with killer dance moves, many laughs, and the perfect start to Nicki + Jacob’s future. August 15th was a night I will never forget! Nicki + Jacob, you are such an inspiration to us all of what grace and real love looks like, thank you for sharing your day with me!
